Hello again everyone

I've another casualty I'm trying to track down, if anyone can help. Second Lt Ernest Peacock of 8 Training Depot Station was "drowned while flying" (local newspaper report) in Montrose Bay on Sunday May 26th 1918. Has anyone got any further info?

Many thanks,

Simon

He spun off a roll into the sea in Camel D8131

It was 18 Training Squadron Montrose, which became 32TDS on 15.7.18 (8TDS was at Netheravon)

Thanks for the replies gents, and for the info Nieuport11. The CWGC website has him listed as serving with 8 TDS, but it wouldn't be the first time I've come across an error in their unit listings.

Regards

Simon
