David B Posted 18 June , 2014 Share Posted 18 June , 2014 It was reported in the local news (Canberra) yesterday that WO2 Keith Payne has presented his medals to the Australian War Memorial for display in VC corner. There are now over 70 VC's from the 100 awarded to Australians over the years kept on permanent display at the AWM. WO Paynes set of medals must surely be unique. In addition to the VC his set consists of 23 other campaign and incidental medals awarded over the course of his lift.
