KIRKY Posted 19 October , 2004 Posted 19 October , 2004 Terry saw you bit on the event on 13th November. What time is the event etc. Tony
Terry Carter Posted 19 October , 2004 Posted 19 October , 2004 Hi Tony I suppose it will be from when the museum opens for business. The museum's Operations Manager, Hamish Wood, Has still not sorted out where he wants us. First of all it was the old school house then he decided on the main entrance, and then he changed his mind and it might be somewhere else now! So I will keep you informed. Cheers Terry
Doug Lewis Posted 19 October , 2004 Posted 19 October , 2004 Terry What are you doing at the museum? Doug.
Terry Carter Posted 19 October , 2004 Posted 19 October , 2004 Hello Doug I will be putting up display boards concerning visiting the Somme Battlefields and my mate, Dave Vaux, will be displaying medals and ephemera relating to the Birmingham Pals. A Great War Living History Group "The City Batts" will also be there and another guy will be showing medals and ephemera to three Black Country brothers that were killed. Once we get in touch with the Operations Manager, who suggested the theme for the weekend, I can let you know more. (he is hard to get hold of) In fact someone with a South Staffordshire Regt. interest could also get involved. Regards Terry
Doug Lewis Posted 20 October , 2004 Posted 20 October , 2004 Terry Let me know when you have more information. Thanks Doug
