tharkin56 Posted 14 June , 2014 Share Posted 14 June , 2014 Yesterday I received a call from a chap in his seventies who had a general where do i look for a photo of my grandad query. When I realised he lived locally in Bedworth I asked him if he was on the local memorial, yes. I dropped a copy of a book to him and low and behold I had his grandads photo from a local newspsper He had never seen it nor his dad.... His dad was born just after his grandad had been killed battle of loos. Happiest man i have ever seen, when he put his memorial plaque next to his photo.... stevem49 Posted 15 June , 2014 Share Posted 15 June , 2014 There may have been men who survived but he is the only casualty locally. Unfortunately 'Brown' makes researching locally rather difficult. S
