My Great Aunt wants to know about her uncle.

I only have little detail - any help will as always be greatly appreciated.

William Jenkins born 06/11/1896 possibly in Carmarthenshire area

Parents were Ebenezer and Margaret Jenkins

William was a Motorcycle dispatch rider - regiment unknown

Was injured by shrapnel and spent a long time convalescing in Sheffield at Middlewood Hospital

After war became a Baptist minister Llangefni (Anglesey)

Thank you in Advance

There's a match in the 1911 Census - William aged 14, Ebenezer 48 and Margaret 49 - 6 other choldren - living in Llandybie, Carmarthenshire. But without more details (regiment, rank, number, second name?) it'll be a long trawl through the MIC's to match a despatch rider (which might not be detailed) to so many William Jenkins's.... Royal Engineers would be a starting point but I don't know how widely they were used in other regiments - I expect widely..

AVLs exist for Carmarthenshire. The one I have is the 1919 one (I don't know if there is a 1918 one in existence)

Accepting that he is the one in the 1911 census above then the only entry for that address is Thomas Jenkins M321985 MT ASC

The 1911 has a Thomas at the address which is Clwydffirch and not Clwydffach.
