bushfighter of this Forum has advised (http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=210366&p=2088168 ) he is writing a book which “will describe the activities and military operations of Sepoys in the Great war 'Sideshows'. The scope is from Tsing Tao to German Kamerun.” This is probably the book listed listed under Books above, full title Sideshows: Forgotten Actions of the Indian Army in the Great War

The book on Gallipoli is probably Die for Battle, Do Not Despair by Professor Peter Stanley, due in mid 2015, mentioned in this link http://www.radioaustralia.net.au/pacific/2014-04-24/indian-role-in-gallipoli-underestimated/1301006

Came across this title. published in India in 2016.

Les Hindous: Indian Army on the Western Front 1914 - 1919 by Rana T S Chhina

(Centre for Armed Forces Historical Research)

https://ompublications.in/product/books/OM23118

(See front cover below)

Also a book from the list in post 1 has now been published under the title For the Honour of My House: The Contribution of the Indian Princely States to the First World War, by Tony McClenaghan, see separate post

https://www.greatwarforum.org/topic/270950-for-the-honour-of-my-house-the-contribution-of-the-indian-princely-states-to-the-first-world-war-mcclenaghan/

I think it is possible that a number of books on the list in post 1 have subsequently been published in India.

Cheers

Maureen
