Hello

I am seeking any information regarding Pte Michael Brearton, 263025, 1/6 West Yorkshire Regiment who was killed in action on 25 April, 1918. He was the husband of Elizabeth Brearton, of 19, Brunswick Street, Cullingworth, Bradford. Is anyone researching the names on the Cullingworth War Memorial that might be able to help ? Any tips on where to search would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Regards

Ron

Ironduke - What exactly are you looking for ? He seems to be well documented on Ancestry - censuses , MIC , SDGW , birth , marriage , electoral rolls etc

Hello Ellis1918

Thanks for your reply. Yes I have his details from Ancestry, I am looking for information that might be on local rolls of honour, Church Memorials, Newspaper articles, photos etc. Hoping that someone with local knowledge might be able to help or advise where to look.

Hello StLuke

Thanks for your post. I would be very interested in seeing your photo of the Cullingworth volunteers. Would it be possible for you to post on the Great War Forum or via email please ?
