woollamc Posted 31 May , 2014 Share Posted 31 May , 2014 Probably 5th (Service) Battalion - his Medal Index Card gives a date of entry into France of 10 May 1915, which is the date given on Long Long Trail for 5th's arrival at Boulogne (here). Tom Tulloch-Marshall Posted 31 May , 2014 Share Posted 31 May , 2014 Service number 11015 - Donald MacDonald. Can anyone tell me which battalion Camerons? Thanks for any help. Number caught my eye. One of the 1st Bn men buried in Ninth Avenue at Loos is Christopher Taggart - regimental number 11016. QOCH numbering can easily mislead. Don't his medal rolls help ?
