Patrick Dolan Posted 29 May , 2014 Share Posted 29 May , 2014 I'm trying to identify the men featured in this photograph. It is in the possession of the Grandaughter of the man at bottom right. He is 202054 CSM Ernest Rylah, 1/4 KOYLI. The photograph must have been taken in the summer of 1918. Ernie received the MM at the end of May (he seems to be wearing the ribbon) and was wounded in the hand on 24 September and sent home on the 27th. His service record exists, but is very difficult to read. He appears to be in the company of other senior NCOs including a young looking RSM stood behind him. I know it's a longshot but if anyone has any idea who they are, I'd be very grateful.
