Firstly - I'm fairly new at this so apologies if this is in the wrong place or is an already well discussed subject (I've done a site search but cant find anything significant?).

I'm currently researching a great Uncle of mine. He is Harry Duncan Toogood, who was a 2/Lieutenant the King's Royal Rifle Corps, 9th Bn. He was KIA in March 1918 and is remembered at the Pozieres Memorial.

He was born, brought up and worked in Burton Upon Trent prior joining the KRRC. I have not been able to find him on any Roll of Honour in the Burton area !

However I believe that I have recently found him listed on the War Memorial in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire and I am at a loss as to understanding why? As far as my research goes I cannot find any link he had (or any of my family) with Sawbridgeworth and I would have anticipated that he would appear on the memorial in Burton.

Is this a mistake or am I missing some obvious reason why he is would be listed elsewhere?
