I know nothing about air force wings for the period, but these appear to be yellow or gold in colour. I thought wings of the period were white. Anyone able to clarify the matter? HarryBettsMCDCM Posted 17 October , 2004 Share Posted 17 October , 2004 Could be stained with Tea to give it "Age"{Alright until you turn it over & the age dissappears & its "OmO" White!!} Having looked @ the Wing,it does look like it has discoloured with age,they do take on that "wheaten" appearance as the silks degenerate,this one looks to have almost gone beyond redemption!
