Baileybridge Posted 25 May , 2014 Share Posted 25 May , 2014 I'm on the hunt for information regarding this unit, specifically a mine that was detonated beneath the German lines in front of 2 Ox & Bucks LI on 25/09/15, (Loos) at 0558. If anyone has the unit war diary or can assist in any other way, well, t'would be very much appreciated and save me a trip to Kew. Baileybridge. battiscombe Posted 5 July , 2015 Share Posted 5 July , 2015 I see there have been a number of posts relating to this unit. I am not sure what its surviving records may be like but came across some lists of men transferred from various 2nd Division units in July 1915. This is a batch of men from the 4th Guards Brigade, with original unit and new RE numbers. This may [or may not] be of interest to someone ..
