Terence Munson Posted 27 May , 2014 Share Posted 27 May , 2014 Private Hornshaw (senior), was one of three cases I submitted back in March '12. The other two were: Seaman George William Peacock, who has since been commemorated, and Private Hornshaw (junior), one of Pte Hornshaw's (senior), twin sons, who has not. I've been advised by the CWGC, that the National Army Museum (NAM), board have decided he does not qualify. The other twin, Charles William Hornshaw is commemorated, he died 3rd August 1918 of wounds sustained in France and Flandres while serving with the Cameronians (Scottish Rifles), 8th Battalion. Many thanks for help and advise by Forum members Verrico2009, kenf48 and as ever chrisharley9 Detais of these cases on this: link Terry
