I did a search but don't think this has been posted previously.

Featured on the IWM Centenary Facebook page is this project by 14-18 Now based on Jagger's Memorial at Paddington Station which features a soldier reading a letter. You (and your students if a teacher) are invited to write a letter to the soldier. A number of famous writers have pledged to contribute though I have to say those published so far are more like Twitter tweets than letters (first one is Stephen Fry so no surprise there!).
