DIXON, Albert Edward

2nd Bn, Norfolk Regiment

Died 14.06.21 Age 32

Commemorated: Indian Book of Remembrance



Mercantile Marine, S.S. Anglo Californian

Died 04.07.15

Commemorated: Tower Hill Memorial, London, UK

WITHEY, William

Private 10437

1st Bn, Royal Warwickshire Regiment

Died 08.07.15 Age 24

Commemorated: Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium


Three of the above were In From the Cold Project cases.

- Pte Cremin died of hyperoxia in Madras (Volunteer: Terry Denham)

- CSM Dixon died on apoplexy near Bhopal, India (Volunteer: Terry Denham)

- Pte Withey died in action (Volunteer: Diane Shakespeare)
