I'm not really sure but these were the mailing addresses she was using at these times in 1915 and they are where her outgoing mail was being sent. If 4th FA were well behind the lines, there could have been a new CCS being set up without, as yet, a postal address in which case she might have been getting her mail through the FA. I don't know the location of 2 Div. and their associated FA at that time.

Trained nurses were posted routinely to Field Ambulances from May 1915, and then throughout the war. Kate Luard was at No.4 Field Ambulance together with two other sisters, Miss Johnston and Miss Smith, where they ran a dressing station for officers. Later that year, during the Battle of Loos, large numbers of trained nurses worked at No.6 Field Ambulance at Noeux Les Mines and No.26 at Bac St. Maur. They were also often used at sections of FAs set aside for officers, and also for units that were used for slight medical cases, particularly in winter when there was less military action going on.

Col. HH Norman of the RAMC was my grandfather and I'm researching his war service and the workings of the CCSs & Field Ambulances. The draft history of the 6th is really interesting, but on one page it lists a set of photos and illustrations, including caricatures. None of these are in the Wellcome library - has anybody else information about these.
