" Every day from now until the end of 2018 we will be republishing in PDF form the full original edition of The Daily Telegraph of 100 years ago. The archive will grow into a fascinating record of how the First World War was reported, but the accounts of life on the home front - and of a world that was vanishing - are just as gripping "

Hi all

Thinking ahead, does anyone know if the Daily Telegraph printed casualty lists ? or reports from the front line ?

Thanks for this Mike. Will be interesting to see what exactly they did publish on a daily basis. Now if The Times were to do the same, for free, that would be very useful. But of course they already have their subscription archive so I suppose that isn't going to happen.

I'm hoping it's a glitch? I can still download PDF's from March 1914, but when try to download from January 1914, I get the " reached limit " message.

Will try again.

I mentioned it here http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=202106&p=2009548 and was then (in the next reply) pointed to another thread which had already been started (I also did a search!)
