pol o frithil Posted 8 October , 2004 Share Posted 8 October , 2004 to all members, i am just wondering about a soldier who i have located with four service numbers for four different regiments . i am wondering could it be two different men. there is only man with this name on the cwgc and national archives. but i do not think that there could be two men from the same small village with the same name . unless it was father and son and the son died. any suggestions. Desmond7 Posted 8 October , 2004 Share Posted 8 October , 2004 Pol - re the first name scenario - I've come across a great many soldiers from small villages with the same names. You never know. Glad to see you're 'getting there'! Des
