Formerly 277, 313016 George H Mason, RGA (TF). Entered France, March 1915. His Medal Index Card confirms a 1914-15 trio, the Military Cross and his MID.

His address is given as 29 Florence Street, Newcastle, Staffordshire.

The 1911 census confirms his birth in 1893 in Newcastle, Staffs where he worked pre WW1 as a bookbinder. Died in the same town in 1977.
