I picked this photo up at Ebay and thought I would post it. I have no idea where this is in Montreal but it seems there was an excellent turn-out that day with that band playing at the side.

Here's a close-up of one of the Officer's carrying the colours. It seems he and the other Officer wore their puttees in a different fashion to the soldiers.

Chris - great pics, great blow ups. Wish I could help more. But thanks for posting them, always great to see 'new' WW1 pictures emerging on the forum.

Glad you enjoyed them, Des. I was amazed at the amount of detail I could get by taking a high resolution scan.

Sad to say these old colours survived until the late 60s when someone stole them from the Regimental Church.
