Chris Noble Posted 7 October , 2004 Posted 7 October , 2004 Hi Allen. Are you sure he was in the West Yorkshire Regiment? The cap badge looks very similar to the East Yorkshire Regiment, also, Soldiers Died indicates a draft of men, 650** prefix, from the latter. Is this his M.I.C.Roll entry? http://www.documentsonline.nationalarchive...&resultcount=16 Regards, Chris.
jay Posted 8 October , 2004 Author Posted 8 October , 2004 Thanks Chris, East Yorkshire Regt thats thrown the cat amongst the pigeons . but it certainly looks like him on the roll. I wiil have to check further. Is there anybody that knows the place where he was captured ?[bARI-AU-BAC}? regaurds ALLEN
