An MIC I'm looking at has 'A Cyclist Corps' as the first regiment followed by Northumberland fusiliers on second line. Each line has a separate number. I've not come across 'A cyclist corps' before although I have come across cyclists in other contexts. What would be meant by 'A Cyclist corps'?

Also to the left of that is an X with a dot in each quadrant. What does that mean?

Thanks

Chris

Thanks.

Presumably they were not attached to a particular regiment!

They were a regiment. (Technically a corps, but you get my drift).
