Sorry late to the party.  I have typed up all the known letters that Robert Tolerton wrote to Miss Sarah Burnet from 1914 - 1918 (WW1 letters a story unfolds) which publishes the letters 100 years after they were written.

Robert (and thereby Lee too) were my Great Uncles.  Amazing men.

regards

Catherine

Just came across this old topic but posting in case there is still interest. Robert Hill Tolerton & Samuel Lee Tolerton were born in Dungannon area, Co. Tyrone. Their father Samuel Tollerton was a schoolmaster (d.1894 peritonitis & typhoid fever) and their mother was Letitia Jane "Etta" McKeeman (d.1911 Dublin), daughter of James McKeeman & his wife Elizabeth Hutchinson. I do have quite a bit of information on the McKeeman family (from Bovagh, Aghadowey, Co. Londonderry) if any relatives are interested.
