Woods Cemetary West Vlaanderen Headstone Check

I was checking casualty details against my grandfathers diary and discovered that CWGC appear to have the wrong date of death (2 June 1917) for Gunner C.H. Goodier buried in plot I.B.40 Woods Cemetery near Ypres. The adjacent plot is Dvr Barnesley, KIA along with Goodier in the same incident when a shell entered their dugout, but with a date of 22 June 1917. A minor point I know but I wondered what date the headstone has on it. If anyone is in the area some time I wonder if they could have a look.

Hi Ted,

The date on Gnr Goodier grave is 22nd June 1917 - the same date for Dvr Barnsley.
