Two Mystery objects?

Can anyone help me with these 2 items? The gold medal seems to have Dutch on it. The cap badge looks religious.

They came together in a box of stuff.

The Cap Badge {The Mitre} is a Cadet Force Cap Badge,from one of the School CCFs,I'll get back on that one.

The Medal is Dutch & is the Medal of an Order{ie the lowest classes of an Order}

It seems to be the Honorary Medal, associated with the Order of Orange-Nassau, class one (gold).

If so, the reverse is pictured with the motto GOD ZY MET ONS ("God be with us")

Thanks for info so far!

Is the gold medal "gold" and is it worth anything as I collect Somme casualties and this could get me something I really want!

Heaven knows! It may be gilt on silver or gilded. The other two classes are 'silver' and 'bronze.'

Sorry not to be more helpful.
