I would greatly appreciate any information regarding the action undertaken by men from the 10th Battalion The York & Lancaster regiment in the Battle of Polygon Wood, September 1917. My great uncle, Lce Cpl William Worthy, was killed in action during this engagement and if anyone has information from the regiments war diaries I would love to hear from you.
