Guest martinmoore Posted 30 September , 2004 Posted 30 September , 2004 Dear List, Does any of the "JAMES" researchers have a WW1 soldier "H.S.G JAMES, Private - Royal Army Medical Corps., number 1975" in their family tree? I would like to re-unite this medal with Private James's next of kin. Anyone having genuine claim to be directly related to him can have his medal for free. It would appear that Private H.S. JAMES survived WW1 as I can't find him listed on the Commonwealth War Graves Roll of Honour. Best wishes, Martin MOORE South Pennines, Lancashire, UK hora@hora.org.uk
Michael Posted 30 September , 2004 Posted 30 September , 2004 Good luck with your search Martin. If you want to research him yourself, his medal index card can be downloaded here. MIC Mick
