I know some of these regiments, NS I know is the North Staffords, but I don't know all of them...any help identifying them would be appreciated.

Some are obvious but a few of those that are initials I'm not sure of RFS is one such regiment, nor do I know what Pioneer RE is,or Welch Temperance...should that be Welsh?

Incidentally although this is a Roll of Honour,a substantial number of these men survived.

Thank you one and all.

Would you be able to photograph these panels so the Names show clearly?

We only have 2 letters of the alphabet so far....

It says on the War Memorials Online website that the Names were reverse painted onto glass..... easy for a mistake such as RFS instead of RSF to be made then....

That's the one...I'm helping with researching the men, done A and now on B. I do have the full list of names, I'll upload the rest of the B's. Other 'Friends of Bethesda ' have made a start on C & D I think and as far as I know that's where we're at right now.

Thank you so much.

This does not appear to be an original document. Have you eliminated transcription errors?

Thank you,Linda

Hi Linda,

Looks like there could be some errors in the transcription. I think REA should read RFA?

AVC Army Veterinary Corps

KORLI could be two possibles: KOYLI King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry or KORLR King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment.

I think the others you already have?

I think you're right on RFA,Robert, thank you for the help on the others also, I really do appreciate it. With only have an initial rather than a full first name understanding the regiment each man served with does help narrow it down a bit.
