Guest Posted 30 December , 2013 Share Posted 30 December , 2013 Hi, I just read about the youngest soldier in WW1 a 13 year old boy called Sidney Lewis. He was assigned to the 106th MG Company which fought at Delville wood. I would like to know more about this company where they were posted and when. So far I know that the 106 Brigade was assigned to the 9th Division 14th July 1916. Would the 106MG company have been part of this brigade or is that coicidance that they have the same identifying numbers? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2499832/Sidney-Lewis-Youngest-WW1-soldier-fought-Somme-aged-13.html Many thanks in advance
