Kevin Tobin Posted 28 December , 2013 Posted 28 December , 2013 I was given some documentation and photographs of Percy Parker, 10354, 1st Battn Oxf & Bucks L.I. Although I can find Percy on the National Archives medal cards, I cannot fond him on Ancestry!! He went to France on 26/5/1915 and was transferred to the reserve on 20/08/1921. He was described as of Good Character, A sober honest and intelligent man. The attached photo of him shows him in "Full kit." I notice that he has webbing but leather pouches. Was this early training? Can anything else be learnt from the photo please? Thank you. Kevin
HarryBrook Posted 28 December , 2013 Posted 28 December , 2013 His card is on Ancestry http://interactive.ancestry.co.uk/1262/30850_A001196-02155/4363740?backurl=http%3a%2f%2fsearch.ancestry.co.uk%2fcgi-bin%2fsse.dll%3frank%3d1%26gsfn%3d%26gsln%3d%26f16%3d%26f14%3d10354%26gskw%3d%26prox%3d1%26db%3dmedalrolls%26ti%3d5538%26ti.si%3d0%26gss%3dangs-d%26gl%3d%26gst%3d%26hc%3d20%26fh%3d80%26fsk%3dCIAABO4AMVXY&ssrc=&backlabel=ReturnSearchResults If this link does not work for you (I assume you are a subscriber) just search on his number 10354 alone and scroll down the 151 results and his card is listed.
