RE Inland Water and Transport

Hi can anyone tell me about this section of the RE? also on my GGs casualty form its states DRILLER although rank of Sapper, lastly Richbro? was this a depot somewhere? sean

Inland Water Transport (IWT) operated canal boats. It transferred to the RCT from the RE with Port Operating and Railway Operating branches.

Richborough was a military port set up on the South Coast which operated train ferries to France
