WANTED - Genius to find IWM film

Recommended Posts

Seadog

Can anyone find the IWM film of the Lancashire Fusiliers in the Sunken Lane prior to the attack on Beaumont Hamel. I did have a link for this but it will not work. If there is a genius out there please also briefly detail how the H*LL you managed to find it!

Many Thanks

Norman

You're welcome. Just google " Lancashire Fusiliers Sunken Lane " then click on "video" (in Firefox) Right click on the image-open in new window, then copy and paste the URL to the Forum.

You now need to find the programme where an expert lip reader interpreted what one of the men was saying.

I'd not seen this before, thanks for posting it. I'd heard about them getting an expert lip reader to interpret what the men were saying in the sunken lane but I didn't expect her to be so successful. Even I could lip read roughly what he was saying, after she'd explained it.
