Hello,

I am seeking information about the 72nd Labour CoY. I'm new to this and would be grateful if someone is able and willing to shed light on the history, location and function of the 72nd Labour CoY. I have a name and number of a discharged Private but nothing else is known about the individual or why he was in the 72nd Labour CoY.

Thank you fore reading my quest. I look forward to replies.

It would be more helpful if you posted what you know about the soldier and his name etc. We can then go through a few actions and maybe determine something from the name/service number. Labour Corps so often has a link to an earlier Regiment, which may appear on a Medal Index Card, from which your story can grow.
