Sue Light Posted 22 April , 2003 Share Posted 22 April , 2003 Chris A bit of reverse family history tracing is not very easy - how much time and money have you got How about appeals to: 1. The London and North Middlesex Family History Society at: http://www.lnmfhs.dircon.co.uk/ 2. The Middlesex Rootsweb Mailing List at: http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/intl/ENG/M..._County_UK.html 3. The Hendon and Finchley Times at: http://www2.newsquest.co.uk/local_london/h...n_and_finchley/ Parr is not a very common name, and a quick flip through some of the Middlesex mailing list archives shows that there were Parrs fairly prominently in business in Wealdstone in the first half of the 20th century. And as John Hartley will tell you, it's amazing what the local newspapers can trawl up! Regards - Sue
