Buckinghamshire Remembers - new development to website

June Underwood

Recommended Posts

We are very pleased to announce that a new edition of the website Buckinghamshire Remembers now includes two projects which document the Buckinghamshire men and women who served in the Great War.

Buckinghamshire Remembers (June and Peter Underwood) focuses on those listed on virtually all Buckinghamshire War Memorials and who lost their lives as a result of the Great War. Particularly interesting are the many photographs of individual casualties and War Memorials.

Clint's Roll of Honour (Clint Lawson) describes source information of nearly 45,000 Buckinghamshire men and women, not only those who lost their lives but also those who survived. Particularly interesting are the references to newspaper articles.
The website can be accessed using the old domain name – www.buckinghamshireremembers.org.uk. On the first page you can click to enter either of the two databases.
For the coming weeks the website will be ‘on test’ and so you may expect small alterations. Clint’s Roll of Honour is also undergoing careful checking.
