Im going through some paperwork and have this information and wondered if he had died in the great war .

William Bruce Royal Regiment of Arty (Royal Garrn Arty) Regiment Number: 80691 . He was born 1883 Durham .

Enlisted 18.5.1916 Royal Garrison Artillery.

75 Anti-Aircraft Section as a Gunner on 11.7.1916. Same unit attached to No.3 Wing RN Air Service,he is now an acting Bombardier.

Later posted to K AA Battery as a Bombardier.Broke his leg and was hospitalised in UK from Sep 1917 to May 1918. Posted to M AA Battery in Jul 1918 as Acting Corporal.

In Germany in 1919 from where he is processed for discharge to Class Z Reserve and demobilised on 15 Oct 1919.

Thank you for all that information its very helpful. My grandar and all his brothers signed up for various regiments during WW1. I have lost two of them what happened to them after the war I dont know but I know now William survived the war thanks.
