attachicon.giftown (3).jpgattachicon.giftown (2).jpgCan anyone identify the town ? Presumably in Lancashire ? Victory parade ?

i can confirm that those pictures are definitely Folkestone. The ornate building with the columns out front is the Guildhall on Guildhall Street. Until a couple of years ago it was Waterstones bookshop. Now the building has a cinema upstairs.

Royal Dublin Fusiliers by the looks of things:

Definitely Royal Dublin Fusiliers. It was not uncommon for officers to serve and die with regiments other than their parent unit.
