Marilyne Posted 11 November , 2013 Share Posted 11 November , 2013 I don't know if this is the best place for this thread... you'll tell me. I usually try to spend the 11th of November on a battlefield, with the exception of last year, when I had the great honour of having been invited to the Turning of the Page ceremony of the Queen's Own Oxfordshire Hussards. This year, unfortunately, studying duty keeps me at home. So instead of visiting the WWI battlefields, I visited my Heverlee Girls, as I like to call them, namely the six ATS women who lay at Heverlee War Cemetery, a small kilometer from where I live. I know this is a WWII cemetery, but I nevertheless want to share this visit with you all. We Will Remember Them .. MM. For Marie, Dorothy, Eileen, Clara, Elsie and Isabella : Rest In Peace !
