gerd.deboeck Posted 4 November , 2013 Share Posted 4 November , 2013 Every year on the 11th of November I send an e-mail to all my friends and colleagues remembering a British Soldier of the Great War. In the beginning I used the book “365 soldiers of the great war” to get info a soldier to remember but the last couple of years I had researched different soldiers myself and used these. This year unfortunately I haven’t researched any soldier so I’ll have to use the book again. On the other hand I’m sure that there a more than good candidates know to other Forum pals so I’m open for any suggestion. What I need is a photograph, a short bio, details of an action he participated in (not necessary the one that got hem killed) and a very short description of where and when he was killed. I also limit the candidates to the Western Front and the described action to the Ypres salient. And all of this has to fit one A4 page. Anybody willing to share?
