acoy1stbatttigers Posted 3 November , 2013 Share Posted 3 November , 2013 Hi This helmet was saved this morning from being sold as a novelty flower pot for the garden! It has a white diamond and with an "8" on each side and is stamped HS 288 on the inside edge. Can any one kindly help with identification? Many thanks Jonathan
wainfleet Posted 3 November , 2013 Share Posted 3 November , 2013 Well saved! It looks like the scheme of the 42nd Division, the 8 standing for either the 1/8th Manchesters or 1/8th Lancashire Fusiliers.
