johnreed Posted 25 September , 2004 Posted 25 September , 2004 I have just purchased a copy of a book presented to each member who served in the Great War, or to the next-of-kin of those who died on service, a short history of the war so far as the staff were concerned, with a brief particulars of their service. I also at the same time purchased a book containing Australian War Photographs. This contains a pictorial record from November 1917 to the end of the War. If you require lookups or photos I am willing to oblige. John

johnreed Posted 20 February , 2006 Author Posted 20 February , 2006 Christina the only other information I can give you is that as there is no asterisk next to his name it means he survived the war. John
Christina Posted 21 February , 2006 Posted 21 February , 2006 Christina the only other information I can give you is that as there is no asterisk next to his name it means he survived the war. John Thanks John, I take it then it is not worth my purchasing a copy of the book as it will not tell me anything, unless I can prove it is him. Talk about one step at a time!! Thanks for your help. Regards Christina
