I am trying to trace more information on

Second Lieutenant Cedric Dunnill Nealon
4th Battalion Royal Irish Regiment
Died on 19th August 1917, aged 18
Commemorated on Panel 51 to 52, Tyne Cot Memorial

Cedric was the son of William M and Sarah Nealon, of Stanley Ville, Ramsey, Isle of Man.
He was commissioned on 16th December 1916.
He is commemorated on the War Memorial in St Canice’s Cathedral, Kilkenny.

As the 4th Battalion supplied troops to the front I am trying to trace if which Battalion he served with. It has been suggested he was attached to the Inniskilling.

Any information about the man would be gratefully received.

His medal index card states that he was attached to the Inniskilling Fusiliers, but which Battalion is not stated.
