EastSurrey Posted 21 October , 2013 Share Posted 21 October , 2013 I am trying to identify a General Wooley Dodd(not sure of the spelling). He seems to have been a rather elderly brigadier at Gallipoli, probably commanding 86th Brigade in 29th Division in August 1915.I can't seem to find him in the reference sources I have, perhaps because I have his name wrong.. Wolley-Dodd was GSO 1 of the 29th Division on 25th April 1915 He became Brigadier General commanding 86th Brigade in June (see the OH, Vol. II, page 84, footnote No.1) On August 13th, Brig Gen O C Wolley-Dodd DSO CB was placed on the sick list: see WO/95/4310 Image Reference:376 regards Michael Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
