ph0ebus Posted 17 October , 2013 Posted 17 October , 2013 Breaking news... http://hnn.us/article/153643 Looking for more info. Daniel
mandy hall Posted 18 October , 2013 Posted 18 October , 2013 Thanks for the article Daniel. I was on holiday in this area in September. I visited the tunnel paradiso below the glacier a few days after the article is dated. The weather was awful, thick fog. We were not on a "War Holiday" so I had to take my chance on a wet and foggy day to visit some War museums. http://www.sulletraccedellagrandeguerra.it/en/luoghi_galleria_paradiso.html
ph0ebus Posted 18 October , 2013 Author Posted 18 October , 2013 A bit more detail, from The Economist: http://www.economist.com/blogs/easternapproaches/2013/10/european-history The bit about burying them in unmarked graves was unsettling... Daniel
SiegeGunner Posted 18 October , 2013 Posted 18 October , 2013 I suspect that 'unmarked graves' actually means graves that record their occupants as unknown or unidentified soldiers.
mandy hall Posted 18 October , 2013 Posted 18 October , 2013 Your second article says they were found last year. Mandy
