AlanCrax Posted 15 October , 2013 Share Posted 15 October , 2013 I have just received a bundle of copy papers from the National Archives about Lt Simpson from Newcastle upon Tyne who was klled in action in France in 1916. Unfortunately this is the wrong Thomas Simpson. I was looking for Thomas Liddell Simpson (also a 2nd Lt but with the DLI) who died on active service in France in November 1918. If this bundle is of any help to anyone, please let me know. Regards Alan
Old Owl Posted 15 October , 2013 Share Posted 15 October , 2013 Hi Alan, I would be interested to see these papers if they relate to Lieut Thomas Simpson, 27th North'd Fus., who was killed in action 1/7/16. Regards, Robert
AlanCrax Posted 15 October , 2013 Author Share Posted 15 October , 2013 That's the one. The bundle runs to 38 pages and deals mainly with matters after his death (will, probate and correspondence etc) Cheers Alan
