As title . Just a great photo' really and someone may be looking for one . We know a fair amount about Herbert, who I knew well, thanks to forum pals.

I'm guessing it could be late on since he was discharged 1919 with Silver War Badge.

All observations invited.

At first glance, it looks exactly like a photo I saw recently of injured soldiers and nurses outside the huts at Queen Victoria Hospital, Netley, near Southampton.

However, the sign on the hut appears to say "Railways & Tramways No1" and the street to the left of the last photo looks a bit like northern terraced housing. Maybe somewhere in Crewe?

Regards

Ian
