Hi all,

I am seeking information (especially if someone have spotted him on any lists or/and which Labour Corps formations he served) regards Lieutenant Alexander K Beaton.

Based on MIC, he was entitled Victory medal and British War medal. I also wasn't able to confirm his commission input on LG. However, rank move from 2nd Ltn. to Ltn 1918 I found and as well discharge input from 1919.

He was probably well known architect (designed Perth's King Edward VII Memorial). He was elected to Perth Town Council and 1915 he was senior magistrate. Also he was Chief of the Perth Gaelic Society.

He died 20th May 1954.

Perhaps any member from Perth area is able to dig out even picture of him? Meantime I will continue with my research as well and someone can just advise/recommend, where to look, I would be grateful!!!

Regards,

Noor

No clear hit on a service record but there are two with the name BEATON A in the WO339 series and none in the WO 374 series.

WO339/ 95050 and 99844. Anyone here with a WO338 index who can say which one,if either,or another which hasn't appeared on the Discovery database ?
