Remembered Today:

What unit is this?

I am trying to find out what unit this is and when it was taken. The photo was taken in Woodstock, New Brunswick and so I think it could be the 89th Field Battery, but when?

All the best,

Gary

From the high boots and blue serge frocks they are Field Artillerymen, but there is nothing visible to ID a specific unit. I would date it to the decade preceding WW1, perhaps 1908-1912. Typical Canadian issued winter fur caps.

Frogsmile,

Thank you for this information. I have received other information and so believe them to be members of the 10th (Woodstock) Field Battery circa 1900 to 1904.

All the best,

Gary
