The Africa Book or Remembrance is the new temporary commemoration place for casualties who died in Africa but outside South Africa or Namibia. Eventually a decision will be made on a permanent memorial to these men. Those that died in South Africa or Namibia will continue to be commemorated in the South African Book of Remembrance until their grave sites are inspected (where known) or a permanent memorial is erected in South Africa.
