ss002d6252 Posted 8 October , 2013 Share Posted 8 October , 2013 Has anyone come across cases of T.F. being posted to service battalions - presumably to provide some level of experience. I have 2 T.F. men who's MIC's show they went overseas on 23 Jan 1915 (3 months before their parent T.F battalion - 6th DLI) - the service record of only one of the men survives but it indicates he was posted to the 14th DLI on 23 Jan 1915 - this is curious as the 14th DLI didn't go overseas until 11 Sep 1915. The service record also show he went overseas on 23 Jan 1915 so something is a miss. Craig Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
